As the healthcare industry continues to focus on improving health equity, regulatory and compliance standards for providers on health equity have increased. Health systems, hospitals and providers are already working to invest and align on health equity measures set by governing bodies. In the second half of 2022, two organizations issued new health equity measures or elements: the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission (TJC).
