From our team to the millions working on the frontlines
Have you ever stopped to consider what a day in the life of a front-line healthcare worker might look like? Let alone, during a pandemic? For many of us, this may be hard to imagine. However, there are close to 3 million registered nurses – and millions more support staff! – who risk their own health every day for the lives of their patients.
We’re reminded each November to be thankful for what we have. I think this year is a bit different, given all the challenges 2020 has brought. I think it’s perhaps more important this year that we practice gratitude. That we’re appreciative of our families and our health. And of course, of the millions of men and women on hospital front lines treating, consoling and supporting each of their patients.
From all of us at Atlas, a huge thank you goes out to the doctors, nurses, nurse aides, surgery techs, EMTs, patient advocates, front office staff, and all other healthcare workers who can’t stay home because they’re so essential to the health of our communities.
Wishing everyone a safe and healthy holiday season from the Atlas team.
