One patient advocate worked with a patient that had a malignant neoplasm of his colon. Before he could afford to get on the right medication, he could barely move or do anything physical. Once he started therapy funded through Atlas, the patient didn't have pain anymore, was able to get out to walk and even mow the grass again! The patient’s wife spoke of the kindness, support and empathy that advocacy meant to him and her family and that they would be forever grateful.
